ELITE SENIOR PLACEMENT SERVICES
Home Care
Home care allows your loved one to receive professional support while continuing to live in the place they know and love — their own home. In-home care services can make a meaningful difference for seniors who are aging in place, managing chronic health conditions, recovering from a hospital stay, or simply needing a helping hand to stay safe and independent.
Elite Senior Placement Services connects families with reputable, vetted home care providers throughout the greater Atlanta region. We’ll help you understand what type of care your loved one needs and find a provider who is the right fit.
Types of Home Care Services
Home care is not one-size-fits-all. Services span a wide spectrum depending on individual needs:
Companion Care
Non-medical support for seniors who primarily need company, supervision, and help with light household tasks. Includes:
- Conversation and companionship
- Meal preparation and grocery shopping
- Light housekeeping
- Transportation and errands
- Appointment reminders and accompaniment
Home Care
Hands-on assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs). Includes:
- Bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Toileting and incontinence care
- Mobility assistance and fall prevention
- Medication reminders
❤️ Staying Home Matters
Research consistently shows that most older adults prefer to age in their own homes. High-quality home care makes that possible — safely — for longer than many families think is achievable.
Signs Your Loved One Could Benefit from Home Care
- They are recovering from surgery, a fall, or a hospitalization and need temporary support.
- Daily tasks like cooking, cleaning, or personal hygiene are becoming difficult or unsafe.
- They are experiencing social isolation or signs of depression.
- A family caregiver is stretched thin and needs backup support.
- You’re concerned about safety when your loved one is home alone.
Frequently Asked Questions
Home care can be arranged for as few as a few hours per week to 24-hour live-in care. A care needs assessment — which our specialists can help you arrange — will help determine the right level of support for your situation.
Medicare covers skilled home health services (nursing, physical therapy, etc.) when ordered by a physician and provided by a Medicare-certified agency. Non-medical companion care and personal care aides are generally not covered by Medicare but may be covered under long-term care insurance, Medicaid (for qualifying individuals), or veterans’ benefits. Our team can help you explore your options.
We only work with and refer licensed, insured, and background-screened home care agencies. We’ve built relationships with providers we trust, so you don’t have to start from scratch. We’ll match you with a provider that fits your loved one’s needs, personality, and schedule.
